Order Cut-Off Time

  • Our standard order cut-off time is 5:00 PM (Mon-Fri), Greenwich Mean Time (London).
  • Orders placed before the cut-off time will begin processing the same business day.
  • Orders placed after the cut-off time or on weekends/public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
  • Same-day dispatch is subject to product availability.
  • The product page will clearly indicate any additional handling time required for certain products.
  • Orders placed after the cut-off time or on non-business days may experience a slight delay in processing.
  • Standard delivery estimates will start from the day your order is processed, not the day it is placed.
  • During high-demand periods (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas, or promotional sales), order cut-off times may be adjusted to ensure timely processing.
  • Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details, including the expected processing and dispatch date.

Standard UK Delivery

  • Estimated delivery time is 2–3 business days (Mon-Fri) after dispatch.

There are no hidden fees. The price shown at checkout is the total amount you will pay.

Shipping Confirmation & Tracking

Tracking updates may take 12–24 hours to appear on the courier’s system.

Multiple-Item or Split Shipments

Delivery Attempts & Failed Deliveries

Our courier partners may attempt delivery to:

If delivery cannot be completed:

  • The courier may leave a card or digital notice
  • You may be asked to rearrange delivery
  • Uncollected parcels may be returned to us

If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address or failed collection, reshipping fees may apply.

To ensure successful delivery:

  • Postcodes must be accurate
  • The name and contact information must match the recipient

We may contact you to verify details if something appears incomplete or inconsistent.
Orders with invalid or risky addresses may be temporarily placed on hold for security checks.

Change of Address Policy

Lost or Missing Parcels

  • There are no tracking updates for 15 days (Mon-Fri) (UK shipments)
  • The courier confirms the parcel cannot be located

Once confirmed, you may choose:

  • A free replacement
    or
  • A full refund

We handle lost parcel investigations quickly and transparently.

Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged:

  • Take clear photos of the product, outer packaging, and shipping label
  • Send them to us at info@racknrail.co within 48 hours
  • We will arrange a free replacement or issue a refund

We are committed to resolving such issues promptly and professionally.

Pre-Order & Backorder Items

If an item is marked as pre-order or out of stock, the product page will display the estimated dispatch time.

  • Pre-orders ship as soon as inventory arrives
  • You will receive updates via email
  • You may cancel pre-orders at any time before dispatch

Holiday Period Shipping

During peak seasons (Christmas, Black Friday, etc.):

  • Courier networks experience higher volume
  • Delivery times may extend by 1–3 days (Mon-Fri)
  • We strongly recommend ordering early

Rack N Rail will always dispatch orders within the promised processing time.

Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship to:

  • P.O. Boxes (depending on courier limitations)
  • Countries restricted by UK export regulations
  • Regions where courier service is unavailable

If your address is outside our delivery zone, you will be notified at checkout or shortly after placing an order.

Customer Responsibilities

Returns Due to Delivery Failure

If an order cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, missed deliveries, or refusal to accept the parcel, the item may be returned to us.

  • Redelivery (with additional shipping fees), or
  • Refund minus shipping and handling costs (if applicable)

Risk of Loss

  • If the courier leaves the parcel in a safe place with your permission, you assume responsibility from that moment
